OFFICIALLY HER MUGU



When Chioma turned me into her mugu,  I knew that I was done for but how to speak up was what I didn't actually know. One evening,  she called me and said that I should start coming to her place that something came up and it never occured to me to go along with my ATM card until I got there and it dawned on me that her mother had fainted and I was to foot the bills though they never took her to any hospital. Right before me,  she treated with a mixture from a herbal bottle and told me it was her responsibility while mine was to pay!


To me,  it was okay but to my both pockets, it was otherwise. I felt like a stranger among them as the continued blowing breeze across the woman's face with a hand fan. Why she decided to faint at that time of the year was what I couldn't fathom. So,  I concluded that it was either village people are after me,  some people mechanized a means to pull me down or both. If it is not because of this Chioma's bride price that I was saving,  what is 15btc that I cannot own it? They even added live cow to the original marriage list they gave me but that is a story for another day. If you know how to avoid Chioma,  avoid her when she's angry. I learnt this the hard way.


When she landed that slap on my cheek,  my brain got formatted and my thinking faculty shut down. So,  I started going down memory lane. Though,  some of the customers at the shop tried to revive me to life,  I knew it was not a bad idea fainting judging from the fact that what I had in my pocket was nothing to write home about. For over two hours,  they kept pressing their clenched fists on me to see if I would wake up but I didn't  until another slap landed on my cheek. This time,  it was Chioma. I knew it without being told. So,  I started coming back gradually as I deciphered she must have checked my pockets to find money to know avail. 


To the glory of God,  I went home not suffering any loss in Naira but my dignity bore the blunt of the treatments.


"Chioma,  I would get back to you in a rather hurtful way!" Those were the exact words I sent to her before going to bed that same day.

 No one knows what exactly what happens within the confines of the dreaded Barmuda Triangle but a lot of assumptions have been made,  scientifically, psychologically and otherwise and that is how life is. A lot of assumptions have been made yet there are no truths in some of them! WHO HAS TIME?

 A lot of times,  people think they can cover up for their inefficiencies by just telling stories that people refer to as cock and bull stories but what I don't know is how many people that have time for such stories. Let us face it! Results are accurate when the processes are carried out in a prescribed order devoid of assumptions,  lack of knowledge and over sympathising with some factors. What has to be done has to be done else the land remains undeveloped. Life calls for actions not excuses.
